Are you keen to learn R or just improve your programming skills? Have you got a dataset you don’t know how to wrangle, analyse or plot? Come along to the next R Workshops @ UQ.
We run R Workshops @ UQ twice a year in February and July. These workshops cover topics:
- how to use R and RStudio
- statistical modelling, data wrangling and mapping
- writing functions, parallel processing and building Shiny apps.
The workshops are informative, interactive and fun, and delivered at a pace that allows everyone to follow along.
We provide all the code, datasets and notes — the notes provide an invaluable reference guide for you in the future.
Visit the R Workshops @ UQ website (created with R!) for further information, including topics, upcoming dates and costs.
We are a team of mathematical ecologists who love programming and learning R. Since 2012, we have taught more than 1,500 students at our workshops. We’re excited to support the next generation of R programmers and applied statisticians in acquiring the skills necessary to thrive in today’s research landscape.
