Researcher biography
I am a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr Margie Mayfield and Dr John Dwyer. My PhD aims to empirically investigate spatial coexistence mechanisms in the annual plant communities of the York-Gum woodlands of Western Australia. In doing so, I hope to broaden our understanding of how mechanisms such as the spatial storage effect regulate species diversity from a global context, as well as reveal novel aspects of the ecology of the York-Gum woodlands which may aid in its conservation.
