Researcher biography
I am investigating the effects of anthropogenic landscape change on plant–insect interactions under the supervision of Professor Margie Mayfield and Professor Richard Fuller. I will be studying the impacts of landscape fragmentation on pollination in the York Gum-Jam Woodlands in the wheatbelt of Western Australia and will also be exploring the possibility of including a citizen science component into my research. I also have projects looking at the impact of elevated temperatures on alpine plant communities and invertebrate trophic structures in Tasmania and New Zealand. I have a background in agroecology, entomology and international community development and my most recent work involved freshwater ecology and citizen science in New Zealand.
