Researcher biography

Nisansala is a PhD candidate at The University of Queensland under the supervision of Associate Professor Eve McDonald-Madden, Professor Jonathan Rhodes and Dr Christopher O’Bryan. Her research is focused on identifying factors influencing the success of collaboration in Invasive Pest Management in Queensland. The project also explores on the use of spatial prioritisation techniques for collaborative pest management. Before joining UQ, Nisansala obtained her Master’s degree on Environmental Management at Griffith University and completed her bachelor’s degree in Sri Lanka on Agriculture majoring on Agriculture Economics.
