Researcher biography
Gareth Kindler is a MPhil candidate working with Professor James Watson of CBCS and Dr Nick Kelly of QUT Design. His current research asks questions crucial to understanding how to bring biodiversity back from being the worse off and less known global environmental threat. He aims to orient the conservation movement towards operationalising known theories of bringing about policy change. He emphasises the need to link biodiversity to political geography and leverage digital tools, demonstrating the potential of these methods to mobilise government action and engage the broader public.
