Researcher biography
Micha completed her PhD at The University of Queensland titled ‘Conserving shorebirds in human-dominated landscapes’ under the supervision of Professor Richard Fuller and Professor Martine Maron. She then completed a research fellowship at UQ supervised by Professor Hugh Possingham during which she took a leading role in the completion of ‘Project: 3.1 Developing a threatened species index’ funded by the National Environmental Science Program’s Threatened Species Recovery Hub. Her research interests centre on migratory bird ecology, threatened species conservation, and habitat management in human-dominated landscapes. She is currently employed as a research fellow at the University of Adelaide.
