Researcher biography
Hisatake is an Honours student in the Australian Centre for Ecogenomics at The University of Queensland (UQ). He completed his Bachelor of Science with a Dual Major in Computational Science and Marine Science at UQ in November 2021.
His honours research focuses on developing a novel hologenomic approach to reconstructing genomes of coral symbionts (Symbiodiniaceae), generating useful genomic resources to understand symbiont-mediated coral environmental tolerance.
