Researcher biography
Samuel Ho is currently an Honours student working on freshwater fishes and amphibians on Australian islands. He completed his undergraduate at The University of Queensland majoring in Ecology and Zoology.
He grew up in Hong Kong, a place known for its concrete jungle which also sustains high biodiversity. He is passionate about conservation biology, particularly but not confined to, freshwater fish and herpetofauna. This includes their threats, ecology, and how they are being traded. Combined with his interest in wildlife photography and filming, he hopes to contribute to conservation through both research and education.
