Researcher biography

I am a casual research assistant supervised under Dr Matthew Luskin at the Ecological Cascades Lab. I was born and bred in Sabah, Malaysia, which is part of the beautiful island of Borneo and that is one of the many reasons why I am keen on understanding the ecology of Southeast Asian wildlife communities.

Previously, I led a paper with the team here at the Ecological Cascades Lab to investigate the current distribution and ecology of the Malayan porcupine (Hystrix brachyura) across Southeast Asia during my time as an undergraduate.

Currently, my main research focus is to understand how Southeast Asian wildlife communities temporally respond to habitat degradation and whether such responses have downstream effects on how they interact with one another. If you have any questions or just want to have a chat, feel free to email me.
