Researcher biography
Shinyen Chiu is currently a Master of Conservation Science student at UQ. She's from Yilan, Taiwan, where it is famous for its mountains, ocean, and rice fields. She did her Bachelors at National Taiwan University, double majoring in International Business and Forestry & Resource Conservation. She also worked in Taipei Zoo, NGOs, and corporates to gain practical experience, such as data-analysis, project management, marketing, and graphic design. She's enthusiastic to link the world of business and conservation by coming up with more creative and sustainable ways to solve critical conservation challenges.
