Therese Hjemaas

My name is Therese Hjemaas. I’m a Norwegian student in my final year of a Bachelor of Environmental Management. I am now working on my Honours, where I aim to write about nature-related behaviour in people through the lens of environmental psychology. I look forward to retaining essential knowledge in this field in order to be better equipped to assist policymakers with future conservation and sustainability strategies. I also get to expand on my passion for sustainability in my current role as Sustainability Assistant at South Bank Corporation. I absolutely thrive in the work I do at work and at The University of Queensland, as it allows me to utilise my unwavering passion for our precious environment and to use my creativity and academic knowledge to provide smart solutions for a sustainable future.
