Researcher biography
In 2023, Teagan completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science. Through this, she developed a keen interest in catchment systems and resource management, particularly regarding the Murray-Darling Basin. This has led her to undertake an Honours project, under the supervision of Professor Yongping Wei and Paul Hong, comparing the Northern and Southern Murray-Darling Basin, concerning sustainable irrigation for agriculture. Teagan is also the secretary of the UQ Geography and Environmental Management Society.
From her research, Teagan aims to further develop her research skills and an understanding of the future sustainability of the Murray-Darling Basin under a rapidly changing climate.
