Researcher biography
David has been enrolled in the Master of Environmental Management since February 2024. He has a French Engineering Bachelor degree, and would like to specialise in environmental subjects through a double-degree at UQ. Proficient in maths, physics, and system thinking, he wants to join the environmentalist community to tackle the biggest and hardest issues humans have ever faced. For a couple of years, he’s been passionate about biology, climate, and philosophy.
In particular, he’s interested in Landscape Ecology, Evolution, Biogeography, Conservation, Biodiversity and any kind of Modelling. His favourite ecosystem is the tropical rainforest.
He recently took a gap year to South America working with NGO on forest conservation and sustainable agriculture in the Amazon basin.
