This semester I will be working under the supervision of Assoc. Professor Kerrie Wilsonand Dr Elizabeth Law for a short Masters project. The focus of this project is to develop a causal model for the amount of land-clearing observed in the Brigalow Belt South biogeographical region of QLD as well as a predictive model of land-clearing in this region. I have a wide range of interests under the conservation umbrella, including marine, Antarctic, and broad-scale conservation issues. I also have a keen interest in environmental education and recently signed on to the CSIRO Scientists in Schools program, which partners scientists with local schools to provide guidance and activities with their students.
