This year I’m starting my Honours project supervised by Assoc. Professor Kerrie Wilson and Dr Luke Shoo. My main focus will be on assisted natural regeneration and determining the cost effectiveness of this restoration technique given a range of starting states and conditions. My interests lie in tropical conservation issues, restoration prioritisation and conservation decision-making. I recently returned from Africa where I volunteered in forest conservation in northern Madagascar and had the good fortune to witness the incredible wildlife on the Serengeti plains in Tanzania.
