Researcher biography
I have always had a love for the outdoors and how important all the animals and plants are to the ecosystems as well as their interactions with each other. After completing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Zoology and Marine Biology, at The University of Queensland, I am now completing my honours year at the university under the supervision of Dr Lily Bentley. My research focuses on vertebrate migratory corridors and how they are analysed and quantified in the literature, as these corridors are hard to identify due to the limited tracking data available from these somewhat elusion animals as well as the limited accuracy from these tracking data. The aim for this analysis is to improve accuracy of the analysis of migratory corridors depending on the data available as well as provide insight into the best methods to record and analyse the data of migratory animals.
