Sharifah Farhah Syed Azaham

Researcher biography
After completing my Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Zoology, at The University of Melbourne, I decided to expand my knowledge and continue with a postgraduate course. I completed a Graduate Certificate in Conservation Biology here at UQ. I initially decided to do a short course because I wanted to start working, however, I fell in love with the idea of research and decided to continue studying Masters of Conservation Science, which I currently am doing, excited about the research part. I helped a friend of mine who did her research last year and got some idea of what I’ll be doing this year in 2025. I’ve also done some volunteering work back in Malaysia at the Zoo Negara and Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary and I’ve also volunteered for some UQ PhD students.
