I am from Bhutan, a small country located in the eastern Himalayas. I hold a Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Forestry from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in India and a Master's in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana, USA. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with Bhutan's Department of Forests and Park Services, most recently leading the Bhutan Tiger Centre. My work has focused on key species such as tigers, snow leopards, and red pandas, utilizing methods like camera trapping and non-invasive genetics. I am also an active member of the IUCN/SSC Cat Specialist Group and a National Geographic Explorer.
