Researcher biography
Charlotte is an Honours student at The University of Queensland (UQ), supervised by Dr Simon Hart, Dr Wilma Blaser Hart, and Professor Richard Fuller. She completed a Bachelor of Science with an extended major in Ecology and Conservation Biology at UQ in 2024.
Her Honours research examines how cocoa farms can contribute to conserving mammal diversity by integrating local- and landscape-scale habitat features. In 2025, Charlotte spent five months in Ghana conducting camera trap surveys and collecting habitat data to better understand biodiversity patterns across cocoa agroforests and nearby forest landscapes.
