Researcher biography

Jez is a PhD student studying the responses of seabirds to theĀ Macquarie Island Pest Eradication Program. This builds on his background in applied conservation working with NGOs, especially on seabird conservation in the Pacific. He also has experience of the business-biodiversity interface, having worked with extractive industry managing biodiversity risk through project design and the mitigation hierarchy. This work related to the burgeoning social and environmental performance standards of multi-lateral financial institutions.
