Researcher biography
Throughout completing a Bachelor of Marine Science at The University of Queensland in 2007 I spent my Honours year helping Dr Catherine Lovelock install and commence the long-term monitoring for assessing wetland elevation and accretion in south-east Queensland using Rod Surface Elevation Tables. I have continued to help monitor and assess these stations complying a long-term assessment record for local wetlands.
As a PhD candidate, I have an interest in assessing some of the variables measured throughout this time in the South East Queensland Mangrove Systems.
We have more recently set up a new monitoring station in the Maroochy wetlands, with an interest in assessing how hydrology affects the natural restoration for the mangroves in the area.
